Margaret “Peg” Rosson (Skala), 53, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in Wadsworth. She was born August 19, 1962 in Berea, to Margaret and Herbert Skala of Chatham.
Peg graduated from Cloverleaf High School in 1980 and later from Baldwin Wallace College in 1991. She was employed by United Parcel Services for 25 years. Peg was an avid reader and a devoted fan of Nora Roberts. She spent many hours reading, watching cartoons and cuddling her furry kitten friends. She loved to travel to see family, especially visiting the East Coast and was a devoted Cleveland sports fan. Her sense of humor and quick wit will be dearly missed around the Pinochle card table and at the family functions she so devotedly attended.
Peg is survived by her siblings, Herbert Skala, Charles (Fran) Skala, John Skala, Edward (Cynthia) Skala, Kenneth (Susan) Skala, Michael (Carmel) Skala, Rose (Chuck) Ganyard, James Skala, Thomas (Debbie) Skala, Joan (Charles) Krohne, Jean (Donald) Dorland, Catherine Morrow, Timothy (Jennie) Skala, Mary Skala, as well as many, many nieces and nephews (and great- nieces and nephews). She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, from 2 until 4 P.M., with a Funeral Service beginning at 4P.M., at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court Street, Medina. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Medina County Coon Hunters Association, 8120 Coon Club Rd. Medina, OH 44256.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of Waite and Son Funeral Home, to help offset final expenses.
