Jeremy J. Leiter, 24, of Lafayette Township, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016, in Penfield. He was born July 2, 1991 in Ashland, to Kevin and Lisa (Waterman) Leiter.
He graduated from Cloverleaf High School and had worked in food services. He lived most of his life in Medina County and was a big fan of music by the Grateful Dead.
He is survived by his mother, Lisa (Jeff) Waterman; father, Kevin (Colette) Leiter; sisters, Krystle Leiter, Leaona Kellwood; brother, David Leiter; grandfather, David Parker; grandparents, John and Jean Egbert; aunts, Yvonne (Steve) Green, Tonjua (Rich) Soutar, Kris Waters, Tracey (Chris) Weiland, Sally Kelling; uncles, Erick, Carl and Brian Leiter and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandra Parker and grandfather, Carl Leiter.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 9, at 2 P.M., at the Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi (330-948-1122). Pastor Randy K’Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, April 8, from 4 until 8 P.M., at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Salvation Army, or St. Judes Research Hospital.
