Josephine Ann Ritzi Keller, 77, of Seville, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at her home, following a sudden illness. Jo was born September 8, 1935, in Creston. The daughter of the late Francis and Gertrude (Loehr) Ritzi.
She was a 1953 graduate of Creston High School and on May 8, 1954 she married Peter Keller. They were married for 22 years and were blessed with four children. She retired from Medina General Hospital in 2000, having worked in the business office and made her home in Seville since 1959. Jo was a member of Jesus Emanuel Mission Catholic Church, AARP Medina County Chapter 2095, the Society for Handicapped Citizens of Medina County, the Cloverleaf Rec Center Senior Stretch Group, the Miniature Club and several Book Clubs. Jo was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and loved gardening.
Surviving are her four children, Kathleen (Jeff) Bielek of Wooster, Sharon (Mike) Woodburn of Minerva, Gregory Keller of Medina and Diane Snell of Seville; three grandchildren, Timothy (Megan) Woodburn of Blacklick, McLain Snell of Bagram, Afghanistan, Cpl. Ethan Snell of San Diego, California; three great grandchildren, Shelby, Ava and Jackson Woodburn; a brother, Richard (Joan) Ritzi of Somis, California; a niece, Kristen (Jon) Kemper; and a nephew, Ken Ritzi.
Friends may call Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 5 to 8 P.M. at Murrary Funeral Home in Creston. Service will be Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Seville Mound Hill Cemetery.
