Lillian Marie Hetsler, 91, of Lodi, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Hospice of Medina County. She was born in Lodi, on October 12, 1921, the daughter of William and Margaret (Mitchell) Faulkner and was a life-long resident of Lodi.
On September 3, 1938, she married Lawrence Hetsler. He died January 29, 1982. She was employed by Permold in Medina for many years. Lillian was a loving, kind and generous person. She loved socializing with people and playing cards. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her children, Diann (Monty) Blough of Lodi, Larry (Shirley) Hetsler of Lodi, Margaret (Thomas) Huber of Freeport, Illinois, and Vickie (Henry) Dagit of Raleigh, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Leigh Ann Hetsler, Mark Blough, Brian (Shawnda Payne) Hetsler, Adam Huber, Erin (Justin) Rich, Stacy (Christopher) Biehl, Ameila Dagit, and Haley Dagit; six great-grandchildren; and sisters-in- law, Pauline and Joan Faulkner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; sisters, Gertrude Schroeder, Irene Workman and Genevive Sprankle; twin brother, Lee Faulkner and brother, William Faulkner.
The family would like to thank the staff at Burbank Parke for the care she received for the past two years. They would also like to thank Hospice of Medina County for their support and compassion.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 18, 2013, 11 A.M., at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Reverend Dr. Tim Morrison, of Spencer, will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi. Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2013, from 4 until 7 P.M., at the funeral home.
