James Hill, 69, of Lorain, left this world to be with his Lord and Saviour, Wednesday, December 26, 2012. He was born in Buladean, North Carolina, to Lonni and Mary (nee Whitehead) Hill.
James was deeply loved by his family and all were blessed to know him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Hill; children, Jacqueline Whitehead (Richard Clark), Michelle Hill Cuatt, Jimmy (Denise) Miller, Gena (Ron) Seiler, Brenda Lee (McCoy) Fair (Monte Thomas), Diana Gersosky, Mark (Pam) Thompson, Tracy (Ben) Michael and Scott (Diane) Thompson; 20 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his parents; and sons-in-law, Leonard Gersosky and Daryl McCoy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2012, at 2 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church, 10170 W. Ridge Rd., Elyria. Services were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd., Brunswick.
