George J. “GJ” Ciulla

George J. “GJ” Ciulla, 67, of Medina, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015. He was born May 18, 1948, to the late Robert and Cleora (nee Martin) Ciulla in Lakewood.
George was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and went on to retire as a police officer from the Cleveland Police Department. He was a loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary Ann, of 41 years; his loving children, Laura Ciulla-Nelson, Dena (Ryan) Ciulla-Stosak and Joseph (Seana) Ciulla; his cherished grandchildren, Miles, Zachary, Dominic, Joseph, McKenzie, Madalyn and Sydney; his siblings, Bobby, Robert, Craig (Suzi) and Joan (Alan) Herold and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 20, 2015, from 2 until 6 P.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 21, at 10 A.M., at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Rd., Valley City. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
