Glenn E. Crum, 93, of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, formerly of Medina, passed away peacefully Friday, October 9, 2015. Born in Barberton, Ohio on September 19, 1922, he was the son of the late Ida May and Frank Crum.
He was the beloved husband for 65 years to the late Geraldine Irene Crum; loving father of Diana (John) Lloyd and Donald Crum; cherished grandfather of Mandi (Eric) Swaino, Michael (Ann) Crum and Stephanie (Jason) Marth; adored great-grandfather of Matthew Swaino and Emily Marth, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Glenn proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII, participated in the Battle of the Bulge, the invasion of Normandy and Rhineland. Most of all he was an avid family man who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are welcome Monday, October 12, 2015 from 2 to 7 P.M., at Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. Interment will take place Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 1 P.M., at Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina, (everyone please meet at the Cemetery Chapel).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association or The Alzheimer’s Association.
