Steven C. Stepp, 54, of Creston, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, at the Life Care Hospice of Wooster, Thursday, May 21, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Steven was born September 20, 1960, in Wooster, to Ellis and Patricia (Harvey) Stepp.
He attended Rittman Elementary and Middle Schools, Norwayne High School and Wayne County Schools Career Center. He worked at Nabisco in Seville for 16 years and Morton Salt Company in Rittman for 18 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and watching his children’s various sports activities and collecting basketball cards.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Stepp of Creston; sons, Drake and Drew Stepp of Medina, David Stepp, serving in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Drum, New York; brother, James (Mike) Stepp of Burbank; sisters, Kim (Robert) Rastorfer of Rittman, Terri (Doug) Porter of Rittman; a special aunt and uncle, Junne and Julius Rosenberg and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Stepp; grandparents, James and Isa Harvey and Opal and Wade Stepp.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015, 11 A.M., at Murray Funeral Home, Creston, with Pastor Travis McKenzie officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 5 until 8 P.M.
The family extends special thanks to the staff at Glendora Nursing Home and the wonderful, loving care given to our loved ones at Lifecare Hospice of Wooster.
