David William Wuthrich, 72, of Wellington, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 19, 2015. David was born in Lodi on September 15, 1942, to the late John and Lena (nee Calame) Wuthrich. He grew up in Homerville and resided in Wellington since 1986.
David was a retired machinist, having worked 30 years for General Motors in the Elyria and Mansfield plants. David enjoyed living in the country; fishing and gardening were his hobbies. He was a faithful Cleveland Indian and Dallas Cowboy fan throughout his life.
David will be greatly missed by his wife of 34 years, Sandra (nee Kujat); sons, Davy (Gina) Wuthrich, Florida and Jonathan Wuthrich (Jana) of Wellington; daughter, Angie (Dave) Ryder of Florida; grandchildren, Kelsey, Lindsey, Cordin, Kyle and Mia; great-grandchild, Judson; brothers, Dan Wuthrich of Homerville, Richard Wuthrich of Burbank and Don Wuthrich of Savannah; sisters, Bertha Caeser and Esther Schempp, both of Lodi and Nora McQuate of West Salem.
At David’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
The family suggests memorials if desired, may be made to Mercy New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Road, Lorain, OH 44053.
Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to the Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City.
