Timothy H. Minton

Timothy H. Minton, 47, of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born January 9, 1968 in Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie (Severs) Minton, whom he married May 30, 1998; children, Jocelyn and Luke; his mother, Kathryn C. (Lent) Minton of Creston; sister, Michelle Minton of Creston; five brothers, Wayne Charles, Ronald Keith, James Clark, Richard Allen, Robert Scott; as well as numerous nephews and nieces; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Corwin Minton and an infant daughter, Gillian.

He was an Information Systems Database Analyst with R&L Carriers in Wilmington. Tim was an Eagle Scout and an active volunteer with the Jamestown Cub Scout Pack 543. He was a member of the First Church of Christ on Ledbetter Road in Xenia. Most importantly, he was a devoted husband, loving father, son and brother.

A Gathering of Friends will be held 4 until 6 P.M., Monday, April 6, 2015, at McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc., 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with a Celebration of His Life beginning at 6 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
