John J. Pratt, 59, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 26, 2012. He was born May 28, 1953 in Cincinnati, to the late Everard “Tote” and Susan (nee Slough) Pratt.
John earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business, both from Xavier University. He was a retired Captain of the U.S. Army. He worked in the car business for nearly 40 years in many various sales and management roles, was an avid car enthusiast and skilled tradesman.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Jennifer (Ollie) Pannell of Solon, Allison Pratt (fiance Andrew) of Medina; son, Michael; grandchildren, Xander, Kieran, and Braden; sister, Sr. Christine Pratt of Fremont; sister-in-law, Julie Pratt; nieces, Cecelia and Martha; and nephews, Chip and Chris, all of Cincinnati; and many, many loving and loyal friends; and dear friend, Kathy Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Carl.
Family will receive friends Friday, November 2, 2012 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M., at the BJ Meyer Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45248. Funeral Service followed at 1 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial with honors will follow at Old St. Joseph Cemetery.
