Ruth Jean Woodhull, 83, of Medina, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. She was born in Garfield Heights, Ohio on August 30, 1930 to the late Lester and Sara (Scott) Farrar.
Ruth was a secretary in the Cleveland public school system and a beautician. She was a member of the Medina Presbyterian Church and loved to sew, cook and bake.
Ruth is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Earl Lee Woodhull; dear children, Ralph (Dawne) Thomas, Roger (Sandra) Thomas, and Ruthann (Gary) Engle; step-son, Robert Woodhull; loving grandchildren, Sean (Jill) Thomas, Shannon (Michael) Pokornik, Adam and Brett (Michelle) Thomas, Michelle (Brad) Balentine, and BJ Woodhull; great-grandchildren, IsabellaThomas, Taylor Pokornik, Austin and Aria Thomas, Shauna Buchanan, Aiden Lewellyn, Garrett Engle, Justin Lynch and Brant and Ally Woodhull; her sister, Charlotte (Tom) Twaro; and her brothers, Kenneth (Dottie) and George (Joanne) Farrar.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert (Pauline) and Robert (Vivian) Farrar.
Funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Medina Presbyterian Church, 5020 Burgandy Bay, Medina, 44256. Pastor Henry Pearce will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina.
