Helen Irene Belle, 83, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Akron General Hospital. Irene was born September 20, 1930, in Creston, to Newton and Hazel (Grantz) Houseworth. She retired from Westfield Companies in the early 1990s. She was a loving mother and friend to all she met. September 10, 1949, Irene married Charles J. Belle, who preceded her in death May 8, 2002.
She is survived by her children, Greg (Donna) Belle, Joseph (Cheryl) Belle, John (Jennifer) Belle, Christine (Michael) Tomion, Edward (Dorothy) Belle; grandchildren, Cassie Belle, Lisa (Ben) Baranovic, Kevin Belle, Shawn Belle and Hope Tomion; stepgrandchildren, Rob (Chrissy) Foster, Brian (Jenny) Foster, Cory Foster, and Tina Foster; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Lily Baranovic; stepgreat-grandchildren, Dyllan, Serena, Thomas, Kali, Emma, Avriel, and Braydon Foster.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 1, 2014, from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 P.M., at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 25 Pleasant Street (State Rt. 3), in Seville. Service will be at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 10 A.M.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
