Joyce Marlene (Harger) Peterson 77, departed this world for
heaven Saturday, May 3, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. Born October 25, 1936 in Seville, Joyce graduated from Medina High School and married Bob Peterson in 1956.
She remained in the Akron area her entire life. A homemaker for many years, Joyce worked tirelessly at her daughters and granddaughters businesses for the past 20 years.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Anna (Bauer) Harger; and husband, Bob Peterson. She was a devoted mother to her only daughter, Lori Mandich (Sam) of Wadsworth; and granddaughter, Candice Shubert Lischeid (Creg) of Wadsworth; and her latest love, great-grandson, Crady Lischeid. She will be truly missed.
A heartfelt and most sincere thank you to the staff at Liberty Residence ll and her special friend and cousin, Phyllis Leohr.
A private celebration of her life will be held for family at a later date.
