HaneyRobertRobert B. Haney, 80, of Brunswick, went into eternal rest to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2014. He was born April 30, 1933 in Michigan City, Indiana.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran during the Korean War, as part of the Elite Strategic Air Command, attended Fenn College, worked as a domestic steel manufacturing executive for Ryerson Steel for 30 years, and was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was the beloved husband of Jeanine (nee Kachurik) for 52 years; loving father to Bill (Peggy) Haney, Mark (Cheryl) Haney, and Roberta (Ted) Knisely; and devoted grandfather to Logan, Liam, and Landon Haney; Marky and Christy Haney; and Teddy and Samantha Knisely.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Ruth (nee Bone) Haney; brother, James; and sisters, Harriett and June.

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma, from 2 to 4 P.M., (with the Rosary to be prayed at 3:30 P.M.) and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, March 6, 2014, 440-842-7800. Prayers will be at the funeral home, 9:15 A.M., on Friday, March 7, 2014, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M., at St. Albert the Great Church, 6667 Wallings Road, North Royalton. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina.
