Lillian F. Conard, 78, of Lexington, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Medina General Hospital. Born on February 21, 1935, she was the daughter of Clifford and Gladys (Heichel) Wharton.
Lillian graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1953. She went on to work for several different companies over the years, including Woolworths, Ohio Brass, Stimmlers Bakery, and Elizabeth’s Boutique. Lillian’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandkids. She was a member of United Free Methodist Church and was active at The Friendly House Golden Age Club.
Surviving are her children, Rick (Penny) Conard of Pennsylvania, Terry (Cheryl) Conard of Mansfield, Bob Conard of Mansfield, Lynn Tipmore of Kentucky, Tammy (Mickey) Steidl of Medina, and Ronald (Lori) Conard of Mansfield; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Don (Gaye) and Jerry (Mary) Wharton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Conard; and siblings, Vange (Gene) Yarman, Larry (Dorothy) Wharton, Eleanor (Gerald) Wharton-Finley, and Carl Wharton.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd., Mansfield. Funeral Service, conducted by Rev. Tony Viscioni, will be held Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
