Jill Marlene Staufer, 60, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 7, 2014, in Medina. She was born May 5, 1953 in Medina.
Jill liked everything that had to do with nature and loved to hike. She was always a very nurturing, caring woman and would eagerly help others out, especially her family, whenever she was needed.
Jill was the loving mother of Jane Staufer; devoted grandmother of Owen Terzic, Jack Terzic, and another grandson, Max, to be born soon; dear daughter of Marjorie Ann (Spieth) Staufer; and loving sister of Craig (Kathleen) Staufer, Eric (Debbie) Staufer and Joan Staufer.
She is preceded in death by her father, Alvin Staufer.
Services will be held Sunday, January 12, 2014, 4 P.M., at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2 until 4 P.M., at the funeral home. Private burial will be held at Granger-Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family in c/o of the funeral home.
