Joyce Allis, 83, of Johnstown, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville. She was born May 19, 1930 in Vincent, Ohio, to the late Herbert and Marian (Kenney) Porter.
She owned the Pine Villas Mobile Home Park in Lodi, with her husband. Joyce loved golf, reading, traveling the world, and especially time with family and friends. Her companion, Paul, and wonderful friend, Helen, were always there for her.
She is survived by one son, John (Kelly) Allis of Lodi; one daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Marjorie) Lowry of Sedalia, Colorado; three grandsons, Josh, Dustin and Seth; three great grandchildren, Landon, Grayson and Shaelyn; one brother, Jim Porter of Columbia Station; two sisters, Janine Caid of Tucson, Arizona, and Dawn Ingraham of Spencer; several nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lillian Porter of Vincent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Allis in 1997; one brother, Harold Porter; and one twin sister, Joanne Porter.
No calling hours will be observed. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Barlow Cemetery.
