Aaron Allen Wilson, 28, friend to all, passed away unexpectedly and entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, September 10, 2013.
A graduate of Highland High School and The University of Akron and attended Cornerstone Free Methodist Church. Aaron had a contagious smile and encouraged everyone he met. He served as a Business Development Manager for SIRVA Inc., but to those in the greater Wadsworth area, he was known as “DJ Airwil”, the life and music of various parties, weddings and family celebrations.
Aaron was a star athlete in High School, playing both football and basketball and consistently noted for his famous “3 point shot.” A loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns, Aaron enjoyed collecting guns, four wheeling, golfing and hunting with his father who was his best friend at “Camp Walter Wilson,” the Wilson family’s cabin in Oswayo, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James R. Armstrong; grandmother, Arlene Wilson; uncle, Dennis Wilson; and cousins, Danny Armstrong and Shelby Morgan.
He is survived by his loving parents, Allen and Vicki Wilson; fiancee and love of his life, Alex Reagle; brother, Cory (Paige) Wilson; sister, Stacy (Ben) Klafczynski; niece, Macy; he also leaves behind his grandfather, Walter (Naomi) Wilson, whom he always referred to as his “best buddy”; grandmother, Jan Armstrong Hazlett (George); aunts and uncles, Bonita (Les), Brenda (Mark), Peggy (Keith), Kim (Jim), Jimmy (Carol); and many cousins and close friends.
Aaron will forever be remembered for his larger than life personality and his huge heart filled with love for Jesus Christ, his family and all he met.
A celebration of Aaron’s life will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Wadsworth Church of the Nazarene, 743 High Street, Wadsworth, with Pastor Brenda Young and Dr. George Hazlett officiating. His family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M., Friday, September 13, 2013 and Saturday from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the church.
