Jacqueline Montgomery, 76, of Medina, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013. Jacqueline was born January 8, 1937 in Jeff, Kentucky.
She had a great passion for education and worked as a Principal of the West Side Baptist Christian School in Cleveland. Jacqueline was the co-valedictorian at Man High School in Man, West Virginia, class of 1954. She was a church pianist and had a great love for music. Jacqueline was a member of the Medina Art League, long standing member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Cleveland and attended Brunswick Baptist Church. She was a devout Christian, loved dearly by her family and will be greatly missed. Life is better because she lived.
She was the beloved wife of Jack, to whom she was married 56 loving years; dear mother of Stuart Lee (Theresa) Montgomery of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and Constance Hope (Ronnie) Mundy of Philippi, West Virgina; devoted daughter of Rose Green (Oaks); loving sister of Jasper E. (Helen) Green and Elijah Green.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her father, Jasper E. Green; and sister, Sarah Francis Green.
Services will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013, 11 A.M., at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Pastor James D. Beight will officiate. Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M., at the funeral home.
