Barbara A. Grubb, 71, of Litchfield, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013. Barbara was born January 5, 1942 in Sayre, Pennsylvania, to the late Ira and Anna (Namet) Naugle.
She was an active member of Litchfield Assembly of God Church, Medina County Advisory Council to the Agency of Ageing, Western Reserve Agency of Ageing, Rural Lorain County Water Authority former Board Director and Collinwood Alumni Organization.
Barbara was the beloved wife of Roland, to whom she was married 53 years; loving mother of Julie (Karen Roman) Grubb of Cleveland and Carol (fiance Randel Feury) Katona of Elyria; dear grandmother of Veronica Katona of Sheffield Lake; loving aunt of Jeffrey Stapleton, Thomas Stapleton and Lisa Voelker.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Hovey.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 7 P.M., at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Pastor Mark Hartshorn will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 P.M. prior to the service Tuesday, in the funeral home.
