Mary E. Plues, 81, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in her home. She was born to Edgar and Rhoda (nee Smith) Robertson in Huntington, WestVirginia.
Mary enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, knitting, quilting, and reading her weekly Star Magazine.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Charles Sr.; loving children, Linda (Richard) Kinder, Charles (Karen) Plues, Jr., Tamara (Eugene) Hudson, Daryl (Debra) Plues and Beth Frederick; treasured grandchildren, Brian (Betsy) Kinder, Craig (Theresa) Kinder, Tracy (Bryan Klienmaier, Michael Plues, Michelle Buddner (Rob), Travis Hudson, Keith (Mary) Plues, Kara Plues, Don (Michelle) Peterson and Bradley Peterson; 18 cherished great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; sisters, Pearlene Riggs and Ann (Russell) Blevins; and brother, Larry (Gerri) Robertson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marion Robertson; and sister, Noreen Hampton.
Family will receive friends Friday, April 26, 2013, from 4 to 8 P.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. Service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 11 A.M., at the funeral home with Reverend Ron Dress officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Brunswick.
