Steven Daniel Tozser, 76, of Lodi, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at his home, following a lengthy illness. He was born December 16, 1936 in Cleveland, to Frank and Sophie (Siksai) Tozser. He grew up there and graduated from John Adams High School.
Steve began working for Western Electric, which became AT&T, and later Lucent Technology. He retired in 1999 following over 40 years of service.
He married Lillie Huml October 3, 1970. They resided in Bedford Heights, before moving to Medina County in 1987. Steve was a member of Lodi United Methodist Church, Medina County 4-H, The Hungarian Cultural Center of Northeast Ohio, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Lillie; daughters, Jodi Tozser of Lodi Lisa (Sheldon) Hicks of Wooster; grandchildren, Zaynah and Zachariah Hicks; sisters, Sophie (Richard) Nilsson of Colorado Olga Fox of Brunswick, Betty Hubert of Tennessee; brother, Richard (Barbara) Tozser of Jacksonville, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ethel Hetzel; and brothers, Ernest and Frank.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 4 P.M., at the Lodi United Methodist Church, 320 Medina St., Lodi, OH 44254. Reverend Donald Kuntz will officiate.
