Rosa Lee Williamson, 80, of Medina, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013. She was born August 28, 1932 at her home, Dave’s Branch, in Stone, Kentucky, to the late James Lewis and Mary Ann (Blackburn) Williamson.
Rosa formerly worked for Ohio Bell, where she was an operator and maintenance dispatcher, retiring in 1983. She will always be remembered for her loving touch and joyful personality. Rosa enjoyed spending time at the beach, gardening, and making magical memories at Disney with her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and will always be loved, all the way around the world and back again.
She was the beloved mother of Dreama (Ted) Kellner; loving grandmother of Jessica (Bryan) Kellner Radeckey; and dear sister, Juanita Williams.
Rosa was preceded in death by her brothers, Glen, Emery and Carl Williamson; and sister, Beatrice Smith.
Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013, 6 P.M., at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Pastor Thomas Schwartz will officiate. Burial will be held at Glen Rest Cemetery, Monday, February 18, 2013, at 2 P.M. Family will receive friends Saturday, from 4 util 6 P.M., at the funeral home.
