Sandra J. Parker, 70, of Lafayette, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at Hospice of Medina County. She was born February 13, 1942, in Medina, to William and Leona (Buttolph) Adams. She lived most of her life in the Medina and Lafayette area.
Sandra had been a member of the Lafayette Fire Bells and the Medina Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her husband, David, whom she married on October 10, 1974; children, Yvonne Mahoney of Lafayette, Kevin (Colette) Leiter of Lafayette, Tonjua Jones of Hobbs, New Mexico, Tracey (Christopher) Weiland of Bainbridge; step sons, Michael Parker of Cleveland and Donald Parker of Akron; 10 grandchilden; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Diane (Robert) Meyers of Medina, Sue (Charlie) Farren of Lafayette, Shirley (Bill) Collins of Florida; and brother, William Adams of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara Kyser and Nancy Zook; and brothers, Rodger and Larry Adams.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 7 P.M. at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, 330-948-1122. Pastor Randy K’Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
