Betty Jean Shannon (nee Laskowski), 82, was welcomed into the arms of our loving Father Friday, January 25, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of the late John; loving daughter of the late Ted and Ruth Laskowski; dear mother of Dale (Terry) Hughes, Dennis Hughes, Ruth (James) Bigam, Larry (Linda Fallaro), Patti Hanh (dec) and Sharon (Frank) Pacek; cherished grandmother of David, Hayley, Theresa, Cynthia, Gloria, Dennis, Christopher, Adele, Cory, Ryan, Heather, Shannon, Breanna, Paige, Trevor and Jack; great-grandmother of Lucy, Kloe, Peyton and Brenden; sister of Donald (Chrissy) Laskowski, Jim Laskowski (dec) and Robert (Sarah) Laskowski.
Betty enjoyed camping, spending time with her family, she was especially fond of family gatherings. Betty’s heart was as big as her smile, always open and welcoming.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M., in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. The service will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 10 A.M.
