Ralph Clinton Ferguson, 89, of Seville, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016, at the Apostolic Christian Home. He was born March 22, 1926, in Fort Gay, West Virginia, to the late Curtis and Tokey (Riggs) Ferguson.
On October 23, 1955, Ralph married Nina Newcomer and together, they celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Ralph worked at Packaging Corporation of America in Rittman for 38 years, retiring in 1988. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, raising flowers and traveling.
Ralph will be deeply missed by his wife, Nina; daughter, Susan (Dan) Hartman and grandchildren, Bethany (Steve James) and Timothy Hartman; brother, Maxie L. Ferguson of Belle, West Virginia; sisters, Phyllis (Howard) Crabtree of Catlettsburg, Kentucky and Sarah Ferguson of Fort Gay, West Virginia; sister-in-law, Jean Ferguson, of Russell, Kentucky. There are many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Pearl, Raymond, Hubert, Elliott, Charles, Russell and Pauline.
The family will receive friends 4 until 7 P.M., Thursday, February 11, 2016, at the HIlliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 12, at 11 A.M., with Wayne Scott officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
