Judy H. Roach, 75, Valley City, formerly of Malta, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 27, 2016 surrounded by family sharing stories of her life. Judy was born January 20, 1941, in Mt. Nebo, West Virginia.
She owned the River Queen Tavern and restaurant in Malta, she had many friends, deeply loved and lived life to its fullest. Judy was a 20 year resident of Malta, Ohio.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Debbie Roach, Vicki Roach Sofranko, Janice McCamon and Lisa Dippel; sons, Harold “Bub” Roach and Ronnie McCamon; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; she is also survived by her sister, Cleora Lee Carrico and brothers, Roy, Utah, Andy and Layford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil H. Roach; son, Cecil L. Roach; father, Ottie Walton; mother, Icie Pearl Humphry; 10 brothers; four sisters and her first husband, Richard.
Calling hours will be Friday, January 29, 2016 from 3 to 6 P.M., at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City. Judy and Cecil will be laid to rest Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Malta Cemetery, Malta, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Valley City Fire and Rescue Department.
