Ethel Black

Black_EthelEthel Black went home peacefully to be with the Lord and her loved ones on January 24, 2016. She was born in Tide, Pennsylvania, to Eugene and Ethel (Hoshard) Niehenke.
She will be greatly missed by her loved ones. Ethel touched many lives with her positive attitude, her beautiful smile and her love for life.
During her lifetime, she enjoyed playing Bingo, going to hear Bluegrass music and loved going to events at her church. She attended Lighthouse Baptist Fellowship Church in Medina.
She treasured most of all, time spent with her family and friends. Her family meant the world to her as she also meant the world to them.
She is survived by her son, Eugene (Diane) Black; daughters, Sharon (Rick) Kollar, Linda (Rich) Rozelle; sister, Emma Sesock; brother, Paul Niehenke; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clair “Red”; daughter, Cindy; son-in-law, Randy; great-grandson, Randal and brothers, Kennard and Russel.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27, from 2 until 4 P.M., followed by a short Prayer Service at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
