Virginia V. McLaughlin, 96, of Medina, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 and was reunited with her husband, Kenneth C. McLaughlin, who passed away January 30, 1993. Both were born in Chicago, Illinois; Kenneth on October 26, 1918 to the late John and Cora (Brossman) McLaughlin and Virginia on September 16, 1919 to the late Paul and Jennie (Vernon) Baichly.
Kenneth honorably served his country as a pilot in the Army Air Corp in WWII. Ken and Virginia enjoyed camping, playing cards, going out to dinner, attending auctions and watching youth sports.
Kenneth and Virginia are survived by their loving children, Kathy (Robert) Steingass, Laura, Douglas (Sandra) McLaughlin and Curtis McLaughlin; grandchildren, Teri, Lily, Quinn and Grace and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Abigale.
Kenneth is survived by his brother, Warren McLaughlin and his sister, Joan (Paul) Brunkow.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Russell McLaughlin.
Virginia is preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Worth, Bettye Hulse, Shirley Hansen and Georgia Manbeck and her brother, Paul Baichly, Jr.
A Memorial Service for Kenneth and Virginia will take place Tuesday, November 17, at 11:30 A.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, where friends may call from 11 A.M., until the time of service at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 425 W Liberty St, Medina, OH 44256.
