Howard Cantley, 77, of Medina, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Medina Hospital. Howard was born November 12, 1937 in Rock Creek, West Virginia, to Guy and Stella (Richmond) Cantley. He married Imojean Dickens on December 23, 1957.
Howard worked for American National Can in Cleveland, where he worked for 37 years, before retiring in 1993. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and spending time with his grandkids.
Howard will be deeply missed by his wife; children, Owen (Jennie) Cantley of Medina, Lenette Daugherty of Medina; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Warren (Charlotte) Cantley of Rootstown, Ohio and sisters, Marie Dickens of Rock Creek, West Virginia, Phyllis Dalton of Kimbolton, Ohio, Bonnie Williams of Arnette, West Virginia, Nancy “Kay” Terry of Beckley, West Virginia and Diann (Ralph) Proudfoot of Rock Creek, West Virginia.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul, Benton and Ed Cantley and sisters, Ruby Eskew and Ruth Woods.
Friends may call Monday, October 5, 2015 from 10 to 11 A.M., at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 A.M., in the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
