Nadine’s passions were challenging crossword puzzles, sewing and making beautiful quilts. She developed an interest in gourmet cooking, looking up recipes on the internet and cooking, even into her last days. Nadine also joined Facebook to stay connected with her family and friends.
She loved poetry, art, music and traveling. Nadine’s greatest love was visiting her family in the Green Mountains of Vermont and the coast off of Massachusetts.
Nadine was predeceased by her husband, James; her son, Stanley; her sisters, Honore and Madge; her brothers, Brooks, Philip, Gayle, Jesse, Fontaine, Theodore, Calvin, Darius, Gerald and Bonnie.

A Memorial Celebration of Nadine’s life will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at 4 P.M., at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Her ashes will be laid to rest with her husband’s and son’s in the Green Mountains.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Hospice of Medina County or a charity of your choice.
Nadine cherished every visit, phone call, helping hand or kind gesture. She was joking, laughing and loving life. Most of all, Nadine was charitable, had an exceptional work ethic and believed honesty is ALWAYS the best policy. She appreciated all of her doctors, but had a special place in her heart for her doctor and the staff at Seidman Cancer Center in Sharon Center. Thank you to everyone who touched her life.
