Virginia A. Bambeck

Bambeck_VirginiaVirginia A. Bambeck, 84, a resident of Granger Township, Medina, for 84 years, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Magnolia Village Community, Wadsworth. She was born February 7, 1931, to Edward A. and Addie Ruth (nee Emerson) Reusch.
Virginia was a hard working devoted employee of the Highland Schools. She received the Highland Pride Award in 2005. Virginia’s employment started under the direction of her brother as school bus driver for 34 years, continuing her pride with the school as maintenance custodian of the school and grounds for a total of 50 years. Her love was keeping the grass mowed and piloting her Luscombe two seater airplane. Although she gave up flying per the request of her husband, she was quoted “she dreams about soaring through the skies, flying and floating with no worries.”
Virginia will be dearly missed by her daughter, Joan (Kevin) Bogg of Texas; grandchildren, Joanna (Norm) Spicer, Seth Prohaska and Amanda Prohaska; nephews, James (Rhonda) Reusch, Gene (Ann) Reusch and Ed (Sue) Reusch and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John, in 2003 and her brother, Edward “Bud” (Bernice) Reusch.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 2 to 5 P.M. and from 10 until the time of services at 11 A.M., Monday, August 10, 2015 at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18), Medina. Burial will be in Granger/Fairview Cemetery.
