Mrs. Sue Farren

Farren_SusanMrs. Sue Farren (Adams), of Medina, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, at the age of 76. Sue was born to parents, William and Leona (Buttolph) Adams on April 18, 1939 in Medina.

She was a former officer of the Lafayette Fire Bells. She loved to bake and make things for others. Nobody could ever leave her house without some of her cookies or pies. She loved gardening and taking care of her flowers and humming birds. She loved all the children in her neighborhood, but especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Sue married Charles Farren in 1963 and the couple had four children. She was a devoted homemaker and had many close friends. She will be missed by all, especially her lifelong friends, Rose Reinke and Sue Brooks. She and Rose have been friends since they were in kindergarten together and she and Sue have been friends for many years.

Sue is survived by her husband, Charles Farren; her sons, Chuck (Kay) Farren, Michael Farren, Robert (Amy) Farren and her daughter, Anita Farren; her sister, Diane (Robert) Meyers and seven grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Zook, Barbara Kyser, Shirley Collins and Sandra Parker; brothers, Billy Adams, Larry Adams and Roger Adams.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 18, at the American Legion Hall, 120 Bank Street, Lodi, between the hours of 1 and 5 P.M. The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.
