Brenda K. Ramsier, 56, of Millersburg, Ohio, passed away suddenly Friday evening, July 3, 2015 at Akron City Hospital, Akron. Brenda was born November 4, 1958 in Webster County, West Virginia and was the daughter of James and Irene (Cogar) Carpenter.
On November 18, 1982, she married Steven C. Ramsier and he survives. She was a graduate of Norwayne High School and was the Human Resource Director for Holmes County for 23 years. Brenda was a member of the Canaan Freewill Baptist Church. She loved taking beach vacations with her family and enjoyed watching her daughter and grandson in all their activities.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Steven, is her daughter, Kelly Davis of Millersburg, Ohio; grandson, Brevin Bucher; her mother, Irene Carpenter of Medina; brothers and sisters, Susan (Mark) Faunce of Millersburg, Ohio, Roy (Barb) Carpenter, Sharon (Larry) Hamrick and Mike (Sue) Carpenter, all of Medina and Larry (Theresa) Carpenter of New Hampshire; father-in-law, Larry Ramsier of Lodi and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, James Carpenter and mother-in-law, Martha Ramsier.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Pastor Travis McKenzie officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M., Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio.
