Mary Madonna Hastings (nee Prunty), 85, of Medina, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015. She was born December 4, 1929 in Cleveland, to the late John and Ellen (nee Boylin) Prunty.
She was the beloved wife for 65 years of William; devoted mother of Mary Ellen (George) Hagenauer, William Hastings, Timothy (Peggy) Hastings, Dan Hastings and Rosanne Hastings (Jeff Collins); loving grandmother of five; great-grandmother of five and sister of Ellen Dement (deceased), Kathleen Enders, Ann Nicholl and the late John, Jim and Patrick.
Family and friends may call Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 P.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10 A.M., at St. Martin of Tours Church, 1800 Station Rd., Valley City, OH 44280, (please meet at the church).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the to the St. Martin of Tours’ Building Fund at the above address.
