Burton Glenn Ferguson, 80 of Medina, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Litchfield. He was born December 3, 1934 in Spencer, to Burt and Florence (Welsh) Ferguson.
He attended Spencer Schools and had lived in the Spencer and Litchfield areas most of his life, residing the past 17 years in Medina. Mr. Ferguson was employed by Columbia Gas for 33 years. He also volunteered as a reading tutor to those who were in need of literacy skills.
He is survived by his daughter, Florence (Terry) Welsh of LaGrange; son, Wayne (Laurie) Ferguson of Litchfield; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and his brother, Walter of Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Albert, Ray and Laverne.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Spencer Cemetery. There will be no visitation or other services.
