Maura E. Fallon (nee Pender), 53, of Valley City, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2015. Maura was born in Cleveland, on July 9, 1961, to William Sr. and Annie (nee Dunne) Pender. She resided in Cuyahoga County for several years prior to moving to Valley City.
Maura was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy, Cleveland. She had worked at the emergency room registration at Medina Hospital. Maura was an active member of St. Martin of Tours, Valley City. She enjoyed volunteering at Medina Hospital; playing soccer, reading and swimming. Maura had a great compassion for our Cleveland sports.
Maura will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of having her in their lives.
Maura is survived by her children, Amanda and Marty; parents, William, Sr. and Annie Pender of North Olmsted; brothers and sisters, Caroline (Tony) Petras of North Olmsted, William (Patricia) Pender of Brunswick, Kathleen (Dominic) of Valley City, Daniel (Amy) Pender of Hudson and Patti (Dave) Remaklus of Westerville; nieces and nephews, Michael Petras, Meghan and Liam Pender, Annie and Michael Ginty, Colin and Makenna Pender and many aunts, cousins and friends.
Funeral Mass will be 9 A.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at St. Martin of Tours, 1800 Station Road, Valley City. Calling hours 12 Noon to 3 P.M., Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City. Private Family Burial will be at a later date.
The family suggests memorials if desired be made to Memorial of Angels, 140 West Wilbeth Road, Akron, OH 44301.
