Jenny Ann Boreman, of Oberlin, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, at her family home. She was born at Elyria Memorial Hospital April 28, 1972 to parents, Fred Sr. and Laura (Ludwig) Boreman.
Jenny was an amazingly talented graphic artist, who shared her whimsical and creative heart, through her designs. She graduated from Cloverleaf High School and the Medina County Career Center in 1990. She continued her education at the University of Akron and Cuyahoga Community College. She went on to use her gift, in the field of Graphic Arts, for many years. She loved to create her Zen-Tangle designs for family and friends. She shared that talent with others by teaching classes on the craft, in her spare time. Jenny also donated her services to many non-profit organizations, throughout Medina and Lorain counties.
Jenny was an avid traveler, who enjoyed taking the Amtrak train all across the U.S. and into Canada. She loved spending time at the ocean. During her travels, she collected Hard Rock Cafe lapel pins and shot glasses, but always looked forward to coming home to her fuzzy puppy, Alex and the family dog, Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Sr., sister-in-law, Vicki Boreman, and Alex puppy.
She is survived by her mother, Laura Boreman; siblings, Fred Jr., (Doris) Boreman, Alan Boreman, Karen Glass (Eric), Lisa Boreman, Darin (Denise) Boreman, Valen Jones (David), Emma Cochran, John Boreman. Nieces and Nephews, Amy Murray (Frank), Kelly Boreman, Emily Boreman, Evan Boreman, Joshua Glass, Sarah Glass, Katie Cochran, Ryan Cochran and Mason Cochran.
Jenny has touched so many friends, family and coworkers with her generosity, infectious laughter, artistic spirit, optimistic and strong character. She had trials in her life, however, she always chose to hold onto her inner child, strive to do what Jesus would want her to do, and love everyone. She is greatly missed by so many.
In celebration of Jenny, we would like anyone who is so moved, to come share in a memorial celebration of her life Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Chatham Community Church, 6423 Avon Lake Rd., Spencer, at 2 P.M. Please feel free to bring a special memory to share. However, if you’re not able to join us, we ask in memory of Jenny, please take a friend or loved one to an art museum, or draw a picture to celebrate her, share her love of color by planting a flower in her memory, and Love Life with someone!
