Lloyd H. Wise, 70, of West Salem, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Akron General Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1944, in Elyria, the son of Howard and Esther (Gest) Wise.
He graduated in 1962 from Midview High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the James Stevenson American Legion Post 499 of West Salem.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Cheryl Gardner; three brothers, Bob Wise of LaGrange, Dick (Lucille) Wise of Wellington and Wayne Wise of Grafton; four sisters, Marie (John) Ripich of Port Clinton, Helen Justice of Cave City, Kentucky, Myrna (Kevin) Neff of Cave City, Kentucky and Wilma Hohn of Gastonia, North Carolina; sons, Randy Biddle of Burbank, Gary Biddle of Creston; daughter, Brenda Biddle of Spencer; four grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
His parents died previously.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 1 P.M., at Hackman Hall, 44 Britton Street, West Salem.
