Alex Jenkins, 26, of Seville, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015. He was born in Medina, to Charles and Janet (Craig) Jenkins.
Alex graduated in 2006 from Cloverleaf Local Schools and the Medina County Career Center. He was currently enrolled at the University of Akron, majoring in psychology.
Alex was a loving person who enjoyed art, music, humor, anything the color green, science, history and learning new things. He loved all people and animals except for spiders. One of Alex’s favorite quotes was “Music is the wine that fills the cup of silence” – Robert Fripp.
Alex is survived by his parents, Charles and Janet; sister, Kierstin Jenkins; maternal grandfather, John Craig of Seville; paternal grandparents, Warner and Kathryn Jenkins of Medina; girlfriend, Ashley Gilbert and daughter, Adrianna; aunts and uncles, Randy (Anne) Jenkins, Connie (David) Watson, Sandy Craig, Lorrie (Terry) Toolis, Vicky Stoyko and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arletta and Thomas Szabo and uncle, Marvin Craig.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 5 to 8 P.M., at Armstrong Funeral Home, 25 Pleasant St., Seville with a service to immediately follow calling hours. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
