Elizabeth “Betty” Neptune, 84, of Lodi, died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Burbank Parke. Betty was born September 10, 1930 in Seville, to Howard and Thelma Newcomer.
She attended Lodi High School until her 11th grade. She married Bob Neptune March 29, 1948. She made her home in Lodi where she loved to decorate cakes, paint ceramics and take care of her poodles that she dearly loved.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryle (Al) Meek of Lodi and son-in-law, Tom White of Lodi; grandchildren, Fred (Karen) Smith of Wooster, Stacey (Todd) Armstrong of Seville, Nicole (Chris) Benko of Seville, Lee (Paula) White of North Carolina; great-grandchildren, Riley and Blake Benko of Seville and Bryanna Armstrong of Seville; sister, Phyllis Crittenden of Madison, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob in 2001; daughter, Cindy White in 2012 and granddaughter, Janet Allison in 2009.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful caretakers at Burbank Parke and the many friends she made while living there.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11 A.M., at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi. There will not be any calling hours.
