Stephen E. Morlock, 71, of Seville, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 18, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born November 8, 1943 in Lodi, to the late Aldis and Dorothy (nee Gunkelman) Morlock. He lived most of his life in Medina County.
Steve was a 1962 graduate of Buckeye High School and earned an Associate Degree in agriculture from Michigan State University. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Valley City and was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Lodi. Steve was a member of the Lodi Ruritan Club and had served in the Ohio National Guard.
Steve was a retired salesman with W.G. Dairy Supply Co.
Steve had a great love for farming, gardening and fishing. His greatest pleasure was the enjoyment he got from his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, married 46 years; sons, Todd (Danielle) Morlock and Brett (Coleen) Morlock; grandchildren, Hunter, Ansley, Logan and Luke; brothers, Roger (Carol) Morlock and Wayne (Terry) Morlock.
Funeral Service will be 11 A.M., Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Zion Lutheran Church, 2233 Abbeyville Road, Valley City with the Reverend Chris Cahill, officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 until 8 P.M., Monday, December 22, 2014, at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 183, Lodi, OH 44254 or to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road Medina, OH 44256.
