Peggy Ann Rizzuto, 74, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014. She was born October 20, 1939 in Rock Creek, West Virginia, to the late Azel Jake and Essie Agnes (Williams) Farley.
Peggy retired as an administrative assistant for Medina Community Hospital after 23 years of service. She was the Grand Adah to the State of Ohio in 1976 and former Worthy Matron as a member of the Eastern Star #266. Peggy was also a member of EMERA Auxiliary of Medina and the Red Hat Ya Ya’s.
She will always be remembered for her great sense of humor and she enjoyed telling stories and traveling; above all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving children, Pamela (Jeff) Aylor and Gregory (Tracey) Rizzuto; dear grandchildren, Patrick, Michael, Josh, Anna, Ryan, Madeleine and Ethan; devoted brothers, Azel Farley, Jr., Teddy Farley and James (Bobbie) Farley; dear sisters, Mildred Cantley and Patsy (Eugene) Pettry.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Mike; brother, Adolph Farley; and sister, Louise Burnside.
Services will be held Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11 A.M., at Brunswick United Methodist Church, 1395 Pearl Road, Brunswick. Family will receive friends Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, with an Eastern Star service to be held at 7:30 P.M. Additional services will be held in Rock Creek, West Virginia, Saturday, August 16, 2014.
