Sandra K. Warner Deming, 67, of Rancho Palos Verde, California, passed away in her sleep Saturday, September 22, 2012 at her home, following a battle with ALS. She was born March 27, 1945 in Lodi, the daughter of the late Charles A. and Martha J. (Richard) Warner.
She was a 1963 graduate of Norwayne High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Human Resource Development from Antioch University and was a Senior Human Resources Executive having worked at JorgensenHR, Howard & Edwards Worldwide, LA Gear, Apple Computer and Hawthorne Community Medical Group. She served on the Board of Trustees for Antioch University and was an Instructor in Human Resource Management Certificate Program at UCLA Extension. She was active in Professionals in Human Resources Assoc. and was an avid golfer.
She is survived by her husband, Lawson R. Deming; brothers, John (Diane) Warner of The Village, Florida and Michael Warner of Buffalo, New York; sisters, Mildred (Ken) Trigg of Ashland, Jane Grant of Seville, Eva (Rob) Betz of West Salem and Dixie (Mike) Nelson of Alliance and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard Warner.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 2 to 4 P.M. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.
