Kenneth E. Ball, Sr., 82, of Hinckley, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014.
He was the beloved husband of the late Gail E. Ball (nee Snyder), who passed away in February 2014; loving father of Kenneth Ball (Dona), Dwayne Ball (Cindi), Kimberly Burkey (John, deceased), Laura Renz (Richard), John Ball (Meredith) and the late Terry Ball; dear grandfather of Lee Ann, Kendra, Brian, Shauna, Elizabeth, Jessica, Allison, Erin and Xander, and great-grandfather of six; brother of LaVerne Parker (Bill), Richard Ball (Helen) and Larry Ball (Norma) and the late Clarence Ball, Vernon Ball and Virgil Ball (Marilyn, living).
Kenneth was a U.S. Navy veteran of Korea and served aboard the U.S.S. Bataan CVL-29. He was retired from the Eaton Corp. and Wire Products Co., Inc.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 1 P.M. at Bennett’s Corners Community United Methodist Church, 47 W. 130th St., Hinckley, where the family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of the service. Private entombment with U.S. Navy honors to be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
