Jeffrey Wayne Ross, 44, of Seville, left this earth Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was born September 12, 1969, to Carol McCaudy Ross and the late Wayne Ross (January 2014).
Jeff was a 1987 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. He was employed by Akron-Barberton Cluster Railway as a Conductor/Engineer. Jeff loved coaching his son’s and daughter’s soccer, baseball and softball teams. He was an admired and successful coach for many years. He was an avid sports fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Jeff also enjoyed playing soccer and hockey in his youth and recently, refereeing and umping. Jeff had a way of making you laugh at the most unexpected moments with his wacky sense of humor. He loved to help with his wife’s family reunion and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his father, Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Irene McCaudy and Mae McDougale.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Heidi Bell Ross; son, Tyler Daniels; daughter, Zana Ross; brother, Mike Ross; sisters, Debbie Ashley, Vicki Kovacs, Kim (Tom) DeVaux; mother-in-law, Virginia Bell; brothers-in-law, Kelly and Travis Bell; sister-in-law, Angela (Brad) Frase; several aunts and uncles, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of wonderful friends.
Calling hours will be Sunday, June 29, 2014, from 12 Noon until 2 P.M., with the memorial service at 3 P.M., in the Armstrong Funeral Home, 25 Pleasant Street (State Rt. 3) in Seville.
