Don W. Faigin, 78, of Medina, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Hospice of Medina. He was born January 19, 1936 in Cleveland, to Gerald and Sarah (nee Markewitz) Faigin.
Don was a United States Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Don and Sally (nee James) were married on January 25, 1957. He enjoyed the challenge of completing puzzles, working on cars and his time as a scuba diving instructor.
Don will be missed by his son, Don; daughters, Denise (Brad) VanMeter, Lisa D. Lichniak; grandchildren, Justin, Lisa Marie (Chris), Richard (Tiffany), Leah, Jacob, Deric, Tori; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Lizzy; his sisters, Darlene Mayberry and Sharon (Joe) Gorin; he was a special uncle to many.
Preceding Don in death, were his parents and wife, Sally.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
