Jeanette S. Bargiel, 95, of Medina, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. She was born in Cleveland on November 26, 1918, to the late Frank and Louise Kubis.
Jeanette was an active member of St. Thomas More Parish and was a member of the Women’s Guild at the church.
She was the loving mother of Diane (John) McCormick of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, Dolores (George) Smiley of Medina, Duane (Georgia) Bargiel of Alphretta, Georgia and Denise (Scott) Myers of Medina; dear grandmother of Shawn (Shannon) Smiley, Christopher (Tania) Smiley, Shannon (Marshall) Greenhouse, Megan McCormick, Courtney Bargiel, Matthew Myers and Jared Bargiel; cherished great-grandmother of Colin, Ryan, Brianna, Zoe and Lumen; and great-great grandmother of Bryce.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank; grandson, Michael McCormick; siblings, Gene, Adam and Walter Kubis, Sally Blaszak and Loretta Petonic; as well as her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at St. Thomas More, 4170 N. Amber Dr., Brooklyn, Ohio, with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
