Harry Frank Scripp, 91, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was born April 7, 1922, in Cleveland, to Anton and Theodora Scripp.
He loved to go to the local V.F.W. and F.O.E. clubs with his buddies and attend Brunswick City Council meetings. He also enjoyed going to parades and frequenting Donut Land. He played accordion in a polka band, liked watching golf, and especially loved deer and bird watching.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family dearly.
He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Barbara (John) Rocha, Rosalie Marie (Patrick) Powers; grandchildren, Roseann (David) Smerek, Danielle (David) Rising, Melissa Powers, Dan Powers; and great-grandchildren, Jason, Deseree, Adam, Alexis, Dominic, and Gavin.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clara (nee Kusowski); brothers, Ed, Charles, Robert; and sisters, Mary, Helen, and Gertrude.
Friends may join the family for visitation Friday, March 28, 2014, from 4 to 8 P.M., at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014, 11 A.M., at the funeral home. Internment will be at Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
